Specialised units through which NEMA expresses integral mission and engages priority unreached peoples.

In her commitment to the full expression of integral mission, NEMA encourages and executes relief and rehabilitation ministries. This has become necessary especially with the increase in humanitarian crises across countries. Most harvest fields face intense persecution, banditry, insurgency, poverty and poor sanitation. NEMA is committed to assessing needs, doing advocacy, mobilizing resources, identifying direct victims, responding to their challenges and providing trauma healing.
To the glory of God, NEMA's Relief and Rehabilitation Unit has provided start-up funds for over 100 widows who were victims of insurgency in the Northeast. It has facilitated educational resources for children in the region, provided immediate relief materials for victims of attacks in the Northwest and North-central regions, and helped persecuted brethren work through trauma healing.
Over 60 years old, supported to start selling Mandara. From the proceeds she built a shelter for herself, her granddaughter — freed from Boko Haram captivity — and three children. A further grant supported her farm project.
A 30-year-old in Konduga. With a small start-up she began selling Kunu. The business is growing, enabling her to care for her family and send her children to school.
We responded to food needs for survivors and returnees from IDP camps in Maiduguri and Southern Kaduna, providing food items for households and cash support to 20 widows after Trauma Healing training.

The Fulani are one of the largest remaining unreached people groups globally. Their nomadic nature means they can be found in almost every geographic area, and particularly in the Sahel. NEMA prioritises the engagement of the Fulani and achieves this through the Fulani Desk, which serves all NEMA member agencies and relevant stakeholders focused on reaching the Fulani.
