Training for Cross-cultural Ministry
Funded by NEMA, Nigeria Evangelical Missionary Institute (NEMI), is interdenominational and has trained candidates for cross-cultural missions since 1986. NEMI provides practical training in Cross-cultural ministry to its trainees and facilitates the leadership empowerment and manpower development of NEMA member agencies for qualitative missionary thrust within and from Nigeria.
NEMI offers the following trainings.
One Year (January – December)
Foundation Training for Cross-culture (FTCM)
Foundation Training for Cross-culture (FTCM) is designed for candidates who sense a call to full time missionary service. Application is open throughout the year.
3 Years (2 Contacts in a year)
Bachelor of Arts in Intercultural Studies (BAIS)
Bachelor of Arts in Intercultural Studies (BAIS) is designed for those who devote 100 percent of their time and energy to Christian service such as Pastors, Missionaries, Missions Pastors, Bible Translations, Missions Trainers, etc.
Duration: 3 Years (2 Contacts in a year).
10 weeks certificate course
En Route
En Route is a 10 weeks certificate course designed to provide you with a concise, intensive, and practical mission exposure for ministry fruitfulness.
Specialised Missions Courses
Specialised Missions Courses designed for Churches and Christians from all walks of life, who desire to live significantly for God with their skills.
Short-term courses
Short-term courses in Friends Raising and Partnership Development, Foreign field preparatory course, Discipling for Development, etc.
