Why Urban Missions?
Over 54% of Nigerians now live in urban areas, and the figure is rising rapidly. Cities like Lagos, Ibadan, Sagamu, Ife, Ore, etc. are cultural melting pots — drawing unreached people groups, students, professionals, migrants, and even foreign nationals into dense, complex environments.
Meanwhile, churches and mission agencies continue to operate with models built for rural settings. If the Gospel must remain relevant and transformational in the 21st century, the Church must rethink its mission strategy for the urban context.
